Anne Gingerich, MSW, serves PANO’s Executive Director. She seeks to listen first with an eye to how multiple perspectives contribute to big picture strategies. Anne believes that we must collectively come together to generate a plethora of ideas and from those ideas, identify solutions to big and small community problems. Prior to her role at PANO, Anne served as the director of the Nonprofit Resource Network (NRN), a program of Millersville University, Millersville, Pa., from 2007-2013. At the NRN, she “walked alongside” community benefit organizations, increasing their effectiveness, efficiency and financial stability through planning, training, facilitation and referral services. She also served as an adjunct faculty member in the Master’s Program of Millersville’s School of Social Work since 2009. Previously, she worked as Senior Development Officer at the Lancaster General Health Foundation, Community Service Director of the United Way of Lancaster County, and Emergency Social Services Manager of the American Red Cross of the Susquehanna Valley.
Anne earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at Millersville University and earned her Masters of Social Work at Marywood University. With both a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Social Work, Anne approaches her work from a systems approach, engaging multiple individuals and groups to identify and implement collaborative solutions to community problems.
